The battle in the Baloise Belgium Tour will erupt once again on Wednesday 18 June. We will be giving the leaders in the 94th edition of the national cycling tour a new look.

This year, the leader in the points classification will be awarded the red Safe Cycling-Metec points jersey and there will be a golden yellow Belviva youth jersey up for grabs for the young talents who give it their all in the Baloise Belgium Tour.

Nothing will change this year for the leader in the general classification. He will still shine in the title partner Baloise’s purple and white jersey. Super 8 Flandrien is once again putting its weight behind the combativity classification. Because real Flandriens don’t fall back, they keep attacking.

The Baloise Belgium Tour starts on 18 June with a stage from Merelbeke-Melle to Knokke-Heist, where the sprinters traditionally make their appearance on De Wandelaar. After five days of racing with a mix of hills, explosive finishes and a decisive time trial, Søren Wærenskjold’s successor will be crowned at the foot of the Atomium.
