Scherpenheuvel
The easiest way of getting there? By bike. You do best to park it safely and for free in the secure bicycle parking. Clear signs will show you the way there.
Locatie: Zuidervest (voor het stadhuis), August Nihoulstraat, Scherpenheuvel
De fietsenparking is bewaakt van 13 tot 22.30 uur.
Extra benefits:
- Have your bike marked between 1pm and 8:30pm. If your bike ever gets stolen, it will be easier to link it back to you.
- Those coming by bike, will receive a nice souvenir from us as a reward.
There are limited car parking spaces in Scherpenheuvel as the car parks in the centre will NOT be accessible. The free peripheral car parks will be accessible, some via diversions.
If the car park is situated on the course, you will have to leave time for waiting when the race passes by. Between the red and green flags, no traffic will be allowed onto the course at all. You can only drive again after the green flag has passed through. Follow the instructions of the Police or signallers.
Car Park den egger is not on the course and is easily accessible via Bekkevoort or Diest, follow the local diversion; harder to get to via Zichem or Aarschot.
Car Park next to city hall is not on the course and is easily accessible via Bekkevoort or Diest, follow the local diversion; harder to get to via Zichem or Aarschot.
Car Park Scherpenheuvel cemetery is on the course and the easiest way to get there is via Zichem; harder to get there via Diest, Bekkevoort or Aarschot.
Car Park ’t Boemelke is on the course and is harder to get to from all directions.
Car Park Mariahal is exclusively reserved for VIP and organisers and only accessible with a valid proof of entry. Follow the specific signs. The little car park is not available. Follow the specific signs. The small car park is not available.
Train
There are 2 stations for Scherpenheuvel-Zichem, one in Zichem and one in Testelt.
Distance to the centre of Scherpenheuvel:
- From Zichem: 4 km
- From Testelt: 6.7 km

Bus
Buses 30 and 31 connect the stations of Aarschot and Diest. Bus 31 also passes by Zichem and Testelt stations.
Bear in mind that on 14 June, De Lijn’s timetable for routes to Scherpenheuvel will be disrupted. You may have to use a replacement bus stop.
